Regenerative Ag. & Healthy Soils
In order to make our agricultural system work for the planet and people, it must change. Kat believes harmful agricultural methods are at the root of many human health pandemics like obesity and diabetes, while at the same time many of the nation’s children and young students suffer from food insecurity and hunger. This is why it is paramount to Kat’s goals to work to grow a regenerative food system that equitably improves local economies, builds on soil fertility, restores biodiversity, enables water quality to flourish, and helps to achieve climate stability by restoring carbon and other nutrients to the soil.
